Some of the books turned out better than others (Though I guess that entirely depends on what each reader prefers). They all have different personalities, goals and motivations and I love that they (especially W and Christine) know what they want from life and stand their ground. The world-building is excellent if a little crazy. And let's not forget about the humor and historical elements, which - among other things - makes this series quite hilarious. I would say the occult, mystery and romance are perfectly balanced in each book, depending on what the focus needed to be on. I also read Widdershins again after Fallow and knowing the things I know, I liked it even more than the first time. I think it's better to read the whole thing at once, especially if you're like me and forget things. What a ride! :) This series has definitely earned it's place in the MM Romance Group's Hall of Fame.
